Successful switch @ RWE Eemshaven

As we mentioned in our previous posts about RWE, they entrusted us with the contract for the fuel-handling scope of the co-firing project at Eemshaven in the Netherlands.

At the end of 2018, a lot of the bigger parts where lifted and we could start final assembly, electrical works and piping.  After mechanical completion a few months later, the first pellets were burned successfully in the installation, last autumn. From that moment on, the power plant could start to switch to this sustainable fuel.

There is a continuous supply of biomass, via ships, to the port of Eemshaven.
As for now, commissioning is almost finished. Geldof is very proud to have built an installation that can contribute to a greener world.
