Kick-off of our second large-scale biomass energy project in Paris

With a smile the size of the “Grande Arche”, we are glad to announce the kick-off of our second large-scale biomass energy project in Paris, France.

From 2023, the business district of La Défense will be heated using agro-pellets made from various types of biodegradable waste, such as green waste, corn straw and olive pits. By using sustainable fuel and reducing CO2 emissions by a whopping 54,000 tons per year, this solution will considerably reduce the carbon footprint of the district. The design and turnkey construction of the biomass storage and handling installation are in safe hands with Geldof.
